The MCLIM software, developed by the R & D team of Marwen Ingeniería, represents a transversal tactic that allows to identify the environmental impact in a municipality. Through this application can be determined and work in the definition of policies for the mitigation of climate change and adaptation to new climatological conditions.
Through different questions based on 9 axes of action, which encompass the different realities of a municipality, strategic lines of work and action points will be determined. Once the questionnaire has been answered, a report is issued that allows identifying each axis that can be improved according to the geographic, environmental and socioeconomic characteristics of the locality.
The scope of the MCLIM software is municipal, being possible to transpose it to regional scale if necessary. The use of it serves as the basis for the creation of a strategy and municipal regulation for the fight against Climate Change.
